Female Urology (or urogynecology) denotes a poorly defined group of conditions that occur in women, including stress incontinence, nonmalignant urethral diseases, interstitial cystitis, painful bladder syndromes, pelvic prolapse and bladder dysfunction leading to incontinence, to name a few. These conditions are closely related to other common problems within the traditional domain of urology and gynecology .
