urinary infections
Urinary Tract Infections As the leading reason for physician visits for a genitourinary disorder in the United States, urinary tract infections are caused by microbial invasion of the urinary system, either due to bacteria, chlamydia, viruses, fungi, or parasites. Most single episodes can be cured with antibiotics, but many individuals, particularly women, suffer recurrent infections.
